This is his first solo effort since 2009’s Starting All Over Again and featuring the same team (with Carla Olson in the producer’s chair). Joe Bonamassa and Jools Holland appear this time though among the special guests.

This raucous 1968 Chicago blues classic is the latest in a growing series of newly re-mastered  and expanded editions from the back catalogue of this iconic label. Hutto is in fine form throughout on impassioned vocals and searing slide guitar, with Sunnyland Slim’s piano and organ support being a wonderful addition to the impressive Hawks. As well as the original album, this deluxe digi-pack edition includes a previously unissued song, some alternate takes and a 16 page booklet.
